Comments on: Beware of Scam “Forensic” Loan Auditors/Companies

NATIONWIDE FINANCIAL CONSULTING in California has contacted us for the 'Re-Construction" of our mortgage, guaranteeing to be completed in 45 days; but to be paid in full up front. Sounds like another scam to me. they claim a money back full refund if they do noy perform. in additional they have 'bond money' available they claim, thus reducing our fee to $500. split into 2 payment. however, reducing the fee further if you pay it all up front at once to $400.

Who are these people? This one expert claims 212success against Wells Fargo, and 356 against Bank of America in FL in the past year.

With all the scam out there we do not want to lose more money and find some derogatory incident involving them.

Information, please.

I don't know if this is the same ones they are called Amercian Forensic Audits LLC. They did the same to me. My house was auctioned off Sept 29, 2011 and now we are been evicted from my home. You have to stop that auction, need to find out what you can do to stop it DON'T WAIT!!!

I was taken by Tim Bronson… he promised so much and I got nothing…They are higly organized and they will make you believe that they are following thru on the doc''s and all…But I Got scammed 1600.
I will be contacting the attorney generals office and will be paying them a visit.. I am from new yok and NOBODY scams me without an attemp to get my money back. Buyers beware!……Tim I am after you>

we were just contacted by Consumer Advocates Group out of LA, They want $2000 up fron(or in installments) to do a forensic loan audit with a promise of getting us into a fixed rate mortgage reducing our monthly paymrents by 1/3. Are thet legit? most of what I am reading says not.

I got the same call from nationwide financial consulting. Any company that wants money up front I would beware of. I have done some researching and most of these forensic audit companies are scams.

I was recently contacted by PCI, a forensic home loan company based in Atlanta GA. They are willing to work with me for a fee of $1500.00. $500.00 retainer and the remainder in installments. Do you know anything about this company? Are they reputable?

I was cheated out of $1850. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau (lousy business bureau for the way they handle complaints). The shameful people at TILA responded saying they completed there work and would not refund me the money. I received a report from them that made attorney's laugh. TILA did not help me against the crooked bank called Chase and washed there hands of me. They also said they had compiled a list of attorneys willing to help people but TILA will not respond to my phone calls or e-mails. They must feel so proud to know a family with a newborn child will end up on the street very soon.

IS THIS FOR REAL AND CAN THEY LOWER MY MORTGAGE PAYMENT AND RATE ON A FIXED LOAN?

If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. BEWARE! Do your research. Investigate the people behind the company and the lawyers. Especially the lawyers. It’s very easy. If the lawyer or lawyers have any history of fraud or punishment from the bar because of ‘bad’ behavior, be especially aware of what you are getting into.

Again, if something seems too good to be true AND they ask for money, especially in the thousands of dollars, up front, be cautious.

Nowadays it’s easy to investigate a company. So DO it.

I have been trying to find out about this company. There does not seem to be much negative information, however they are headquartered in Nevada, and their services cannot be used there (according to there website). We are wary of all these sites, as we have applied and been denied the HAMP. It seems our previous attorney did collect some information, but the government and the attorney actually left the final decision to BofA, and they said no. I want to pursue this again, but we simply cannot afford another $2500-$5000 for legal advise. BofA turned us down due to unsteady employment for a year. However, we are working again (albeit at a fraction of my prior paycheck). In 30 yrs, we have missed 1 house payment over 4 mortgages, and we would like to bring our payment in line with our current salary. if you uncover any further information about these guys, please post it.

what about Twin Builders Foundation Corporation in California? Are they legitimate? They were asking for $1,500 initial payment and $$5,000 for the final transactions. The person who did a presentation to us last week (Hawaii) said this company can reduce or wipe out the mortgage and still have a settlement. The lawyer gets 40% of the settlement. Do you think this is a legitimate company?

company does not honor there 120% money back gerinitee. They took $3000.00 of my $$ and never followed thru….they request a Check only, that way you can't gave the CC co. go after them…beware!!

Has anyone been ripped off by a company "Nationwide Loan Auditing" out of California? They took $3000.00 from me to provide a loan audit and didn't follow thru. MODS 101: I have a friend who’s been trying for two years to get a loan modification with BOA. Needless to say, its been a nightmare and hasnt gone anywhere. Out of desperation, he has signed up with MODS 101 Inc out of FL. They are a forensic auditing company. He has sent them two payments upfront totaling about $900. In my heart I know its a scam but he feels so hopeful. Has anyone heard of them?? They have a website but it looks like a lot of BS wrapped in a pretty package to me. Any info is helpful. Thank you!

Has anyone heard of Bella Homes, LLC based out of Atlanta, GA for forensic mortgage audits. They offered to do a forensic audit of my mortgage, lease my home to me for 5-7 years and charge me $4,000 closing costs upfront. This sounds like a scam?

I have been working with Truth in Lending Auditors, LLC Cheyenne, WY for over a year now they are a scam company. They never followed up on collection of documents and never negotiated when they needed to they forgot. Don't use them Please!

American Forensic Loan Auditors (AKA B. Diego Hellewell) is a scam. The only way to get a loan modification is to call your mortgage company and work with them directly. The best part about this approach is it's FREE!

A fellow Housing counselor warned us about, NACA saying that they were bad News. They claim to be fighting the banks Via their Website…however, that is just a show, as they are in the pocket of the banks. i was also told BofA uses them in one of their departments. So if you call Bank of America, make sure you ask if you are speaking to a BofA "EMPLOYEE" and if they answer yes, then ask them for their employee ID!! As NACA can't answer that question with a lie. If you know anyone needing help with their mortgage, tell them to look for local Hud approved agency's in their area. Not all Hud-Approved agency's are the same so, if you don't like the first one look for others. We are a HUD-Approved agency located in Florida..
