NATIONWIDE FINANCIAL CONSULTING in California has contacted us for the 'Re-Construction" of our mortgage, guaranteeing to be completed in 45 days; but to be paid in full up front. Sounds like another scam to me. they claim a money back full refund if they do noy perform. in additional they have 'bond money' available they claim, thus reducing our fee to $500. split into 2 payment. however, reducing the fee further if you pay it all up front at once to $400.

Who are these people? This one expert claims 212success against Wells Fargo, and 356 against Bank of America in FL in the past year.

With all the scam out there we do not want to lose more money and find some derogatory incident involving them.

Information, please.

I don't know if this is the same ones they are called Amercian Forensic Audits LLC. They did the same to me. My house was auctioned off Sept 29, 2011 and now we are been evicted from my home. You have to stop that auction, need to find out what you can do to stop it DON'T WAIT!!!

I will be contacting the attorney generals office and will be paying them a visit.. I am from new yok and NOBODY scams me without an attemp to get my money back. Buyers beware!……Tim I am after you>

we were just contacted by Consumer Advocates Group out of LA, They want $2000 up fron(or in installments) to do a forensic loan audit with a promise of getting us into a fixed rate mortgage reducing our monthly paymrents by 1/3. Are thet legit? most of what I am reading says not.

I agree 100 percent. I have also done my own research and due diligence. When I previewed a "sample" product from "Lumitate" all it contained was information that is right in front of your nose. By that I mean information that is contained in the documents that you- a homeowner already possess. The reports are not specific enough to allow you to enter a court of law with a legitimate claim of fraud or anything else. You must do your own research and find your own causes of action. Each case has different circumstances and different facts. No thanks "Lumitate."

Depending on when you took out the loan almost every loan transferred to another lender is handled through MERS (Mortgage electronic registration system)- There should be docs in your original package making reference to this and as long as it was registered they have electronic confirmation even if it never got recorded at your county courthouse. Not to say you don't have a leg to stand on, but thats the way it works.

I got the same call from nationwide financial consulting. Any company that wants money up front I would beware of. I have done some researching and most of these forensic audit companies are scams.

Fannie Mae corruption is about several specific people making very real money (millions of dollars) at the taxpayers expense. For a while now, I have followed the career of Fannie Mae Associate Vice President Lea France who has become notoriously famous for her strange and abusive management style. Looking at the sales records I see a very specific investor who follows her career very closely as well. Following her from one state to another, the investor buys only Fannie Mae owned properties paying cents on the dollar in each area of the country that she manages at the time and subsequently flipping them a few months later making a very quick no-risk 40-60% profit on each sale. I was cheated out of $1850. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau (lousy business bureau for the way they handle complaints). The shameful people at TILA responded saying they completed there work and would not refund me the money. I received a report from them that made attorney's laugh. TILA did not help me against the crooked bank called Chase and washed there hands of me. They also said they had compiled a list of attorneys willing to help people but TILA will not respond to my phone calls or e-mails. They must feel so proud to know a family with a newborn child will end up on the street very soon.
