Write-in campaign for Hillary underway in New Hampshire

Could she pull off a Eugene McCarthy moment?

Theoretically, Barack Obama is running unopposed for his party’s nomination for president in New Hampshire and across the country. In reality, he shares the ballot with at least eight others whose names are virtually unrecognizable. Now, though, a write-campaign for a lady whose name is familiar is also underway in New Hampshire, according to a [...]

Taylor Marsh throws in the towel on Obama

The [Democrat] Party's over

Just how disappointed are progressives about the performance of Barack Obama during his first three years in office? Perhaps no better example can be found than a simply jaw dropping editorial tirade this weekend from Taylor Marsh. (Actually Michelle Marshall) For those not familiar, the author of “The Hillary Effect” used to blog under the [...]

Video: Newt gets emotional; Update: “I won’t cry,” says Romney; Update: More context; Update: Video added

Memories.

Touching and obviously heartfelt, yet naturally processed by politicos as a potential gamechanging “Hillary moment” for Gingrich on the eve of a big vote. I doubt it’ll change much. Hillary had to beat one guy in New Hampshire when she welled up; Newt has to beat four, all of whom have been trending upwards in [...]

Bill Clinton: Why yes, the media did favor Obama over Hillary three years ago

Awesome.

Via Fox News Insider, this clip shouldn’t be as gratifying as it is. Surely no one needs Bill Clinton to tell them that the press was neck-deep in the tank for The Unicorn Prince in 2008. But it is gratifying, partly because of the hint of lingering resentment in Clinton’s reaction and partly because of [...]

Time for another Draft Hillary argument?

Unelectable?

It’s December.  We have three weeks left before the Democrats’ first primary contest in New Hampshire.  It must be time to make one more pitch to draft Hillary Clinton as the nominee, and Democratic pollsters Pat Caddell and Douglas Schoen arrive right on time at Politico: We argued in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed [...]

Dem pollsters: It’s Hillary time

But is his base of support "solid"?

For Democratic Party pollsters Patrick Caddell and Douglas Schoen, the Obama administration has become a political Amityville Horror.  Barack Obama’s approval numbers have plunged, and his options for campaign strategy in 2012 range from going negative to, er, going medieval.  Caddell and Schoen offer the same advice to Obama as the house gave in Amityville [...]

Hillary on Qaddafi: “We came, we saw, he died”

High five?

I’m not one of those boo-hooing today over Qaddafi getting rough justice from people he terrorized for 40 years, but here’s a pro tip: Laughing your way through a “veni vidi vici” joke while the rest of the planet is wincing at this isn’t a classic demonstration of “smart power.” In fact, pretty much any [...]

War: Romney and Perry bicker over illegal immigration; Update: Palin grades the debate

"It’s been a tough couple of debates for Rick and I understand that."

Via Mediaite, and in lieu of a quote of the day, here’s the closest America has ever come to an actual fistfight breaking out during a debate. (Except for that time Hillary got Obama in a headlock, of course.) So this is what Romney sounds/looks like when he loses his cool, huh? Good lord. The [...]

Question for Palestinian president: Why embarrass Obama by forcing this statehood bid at the UN?

Showdown.

The vote’s on Friday. Hillary, Tony Blair, and other diplomats have been frantically negotiating with them for the past week to get them to reconsider — but so far, Abbas won’t bend. Gosh, I wonder why. A poll released Monday by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found 83 percent of Palestinians support [...]

Oh my: New book claims Obama White House is “hostile” to women

Sexist.

A little something new for that already bulging “If only Democrats had nominated Hillary instead” file. I don’t get it. How could women feel uncomfortable in a White House run by a character as cuddly as Rahm Emanuel? The bad news? Apparently our nation’s economic policy was shaped by some sort of liberal Delta Tau [...]

Hillary nostalgia peaking in new Bloomberg poll

Buyer's remorse?

At least, Barack Obama has to hope it’s peaking, rather than continuing to build.  Bloomberg headlines the poll results with an explicit slam at Obama: “Clinton Popularity Prompts Buyer’s Remorse.”  So far, the numbers aren’t overwhelming, but they are growing: The most popular national political figure in America today is one who was rejected by [...]

Open thread: Obama statement on downgrade

Plus, does Hillary have more testicular fortitude?

As I predicted earlier today, the White House has decided to get Barack Obama out of his bunker mode and have him issue a statement on the S&P downgrade today (as well as on Afghanistan) at 1 pm ET.  It’s difficult to predict which version of the administration spin he will back in his address.  [...]

How quickly they forget

Truth be told that the far left wing are just simply: hypocrites. They rant and rave about the goings on of the right and then commit far worse acts of hatred than anyone on the right. Nothing like having a communist from Chicago in the White House. I don’t think the left, generally speaking, Nobama, Tim the tax cheat, Barney, Hillary, Reid, Pelosi, Dodd or any of the other “jokers” in this administration really, truly understand what they’re up against once they finish pissing off the core of this country. Well, as Michelle Malkin said, “how quickly they forget.”
